I usually prefer to keep my data in a cloud somewhere, or at least in a treehouse or something else which isn’t local disk. Anything not having to depend on sitting in front of the “right” computer. Currently the treehouse where most of my data lives is a VPS I rent in a datacenter. More [...]

Seems as if the project ZFS on FUSE is still alive. Announcing zfs-fuse 0.5.0 Changelog entry I for sure know what I’ll be looking at today.

The Google Chrome beta looks really interesting. Based on their comic-style introduction things might just have been done very much the right way. I am most definitely eager to see a Linux version of Google’s new browser.
